Attractions
Paradise Beach Club
Our favorite beach club and bar. Complimentary lounge chairs and umbrellas
Chankanaab Park
A visit to Chankanaab means adventure, fun, tranquility and safety in just one place. While visiting Chankanaab one becomes part of a conservation area, which offers a swimming area, or if you wish, you can plunge into the underwater world and enjoy Christ and Virgin sculptures. You can also enjoy a variety of food at any of the restaurants. Swim with the Dolphins here at Dolphin Discovery
Xcaret
An Ecological Disney Land and microcosm of everything we love about Mexico. You'll need a full day to begin to appreciate this park. Don't miss the "Mexico Espectacular" show at 6:00 pm
Places of Interest
San Gervasio
An archaeological site of the pre-Colombian Maya civilization. The ruins were once a hub of worship to the goddess Ix Chel, the Maya Moon Goddess. Pre-Colombian Maya people would travel to the site and make offerings at certain times of the year.
Downtown Market
Dozens of independently owned and operated boutiques and specialty shops line the streets of this charming island town. An eclectic array or jewelry stores, art shops, surf shops, and souvenir stores, are some of the treasures you will find. Just a short walk from Casa Rachael.
East Coast Beaches & Punta Sur
Adventure into the Ecological Reserve of Punta Sur to discover the largest variety of birds, turtles, fish and coral along with a visit to a lighthouse and museum. Then take the road north and enjoy pristine coastline.
